Mikhail Shemyakin

Metaphysical Workshop

Today, November 21, 2018, the Moscow Museum of Modern Art (MMOMA) opened the exhibition “Mikhail Shemyakin. Metaphysical workshop”.

The exhibition presents more than 250 works of various genres (painting, sculpture, graphics) from the collections of the State Russian Museum, the Moscow Museum of Modern Art, the State Academic Mariinsky Theater, the Mikhail Shemyakin Foundation, the Soyuzmultfilm Foundation, the artist’s and several private collections.

At the request of the organizers, our foundation also provided for this exhibition three works by Mikhail Shemyakin from our collection – “Landscape” (1958), “Still Life with a view from the window” (1960) and “Still Life with cheese” (1962)
