Kamyshin Plein-Airs

Fourth exhibition in Nikolsky Cathedral

For the fourth time in the bell tower of Kamyshin St. Nicholas Cathedral, the exhibition “Kamyshin Plein Airs” is being held. Each time it is a new exposition and a new composition of authors. This year, the exposition includes plein-air works by artists who were invited to “look” at the same (culturally and historically significant) places in Kamyshin – from one point of view. Now at this point – the viewer!

At the opening of the exhibition on June 6, 2019, the senior priest Archpriest Alexy Kuznetsov addressed the audience and spoke about the significance of such cultural events for the parishioners and all residents of Kamyshin. Nikolai Malygin, President of the Seven Winds Foundation, also delivered a welcoming speech, inviting everyone to get acquainted with the pictorial views of artists from other cities on certain locations and buildings of Kamyshin.

The exhibition will run until the end of June.
